最初は晴れていたが、すぐに曇りはじめ、ついに全天曇り。
南ないし南西の風弱し。

帰りは行きよりはマシだった。少なくとも、見る鳥がいた!!オオミズナギドリの小群がいつも見られた。中でも1000+の群は金華山の北で7:00に出た。ハイイロ・ハシボソミズナギドリがぱらぱらと出た。中でも数千の群が網地島沖で7:45からの8:00の間に出た。ウトウは、規則的な間隔で出た。中でも200+は金華山の北、6:45-7:15の間に出た。ウミガラスはずっと見られた。仙台港にはいる直前の8:30まで。

This was better than the trip out - at least there were birds to look at ! Small numbers of Streaked Shearwaters most of the time - 1000 + just north of Kinkasan at 7:00 . Sooty / Short-tailed Shearwaters appeared in 1s and 2s - several 1000 off Ajishima from 7:45 -8:00 . Rhinoceros Auklets appeared at regular intervals - 200 + north of Kinkasan 6:45 -7:15 . Guillemots throughout - last one well into Sendai bay just before 8:30 .
